The Hortilas House was developed in response to a client who wanted a residence that would distinguish itself from neighboring homes without requiring a substantially larger construction budget. Rather than relying on expensive finishes or elaborate detailing, the design focused on creating a distinctive identity through expressive architectural forms, including sculptural roof profiles, V-shaped structural columns, and carefully composed boundary walls that introduce rhythm and movement along the street.
