The Lamier Indigenous House was conceived as an opportunity to demonstrate that indigenous materials and traditional construction techniques remain relevant to contemporary residential architecture. It was conceived as an exploration of Philippine vernacular architecture, demonstrating how locally sourced materials and traditional building techniques could be adapted to contemporary residential design.
